OUR WORSHIP

Loving His Presence

From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and He longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore Him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth.

AT CLEAR MINISTRIES WE BELIEVE THAT ALL THE PRAISE BELONGS TO GOD

So what does it look like to praise God??

The Hebrew words used to describe praise:

HALAL

To be CLEAR, to shine, to boast, celebrate, be clamorously foolish

BARAK

To kneel down, to Bless God as an act of adoration

TEHILLAH

To sing, to laud; praise that God inhabits

SHABACH

To address in a loud tone, to triumph, glory, shout!

YADAH

To throw out the hand, to worship with the extended hand

ZAMAR

To touch the strings, to pluck the strings and sing along

TOWDAH

To extend the hand in adoration or acceptance

Why we worship God?

When it comes to worship it is not about how and where but about whom and how.  It is not what we do or what someone else is doing, or not doing, with our hands.  It is about how we express our feelings in our spirits and souls to God.  When we worship we do so to the ONE who captured our hearts and minds, the ONE who gave new life to our spirit being. We worship HIM because of the incredible value find in the relationship we have with each other.

Why Praise God?

When we sing with our voices aloud, we as Christians often speak of it “praising God.”  Praising God means to speak “well of God” to others.

The Bible commands all living creatures to praise the Lord Psalm 150:6 (NKJV) “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
