Who is Jesus?

He is the ONLY way to Heaven

Jesus says the following about Himself: “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with Me” John 14:6 TPT

It is very important that we know that there is no other way to the Father in heaven than through Jesus Christ! Most other religions will teach about what you have to do to be accepted by a god, to install fear in peoples hearts. God is not a God of fear, but He is love! He demonstrated this love by laying down His life for you, so that you could have freedom. It’s not about us proving ourselves to God to gain His love and acceptance, but rather us standing in His love that He so freely gave to us

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”

This contrasts with other world religions which are based on “works” rather than through faith in Jesus and the resurrection.

There is only one way to be saved, and that is through Jesus Christ, by calling on His name, and surrendering your life to Him.

Acts 4:12: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV

Can good works get you into heaven?

The video talks about how sin separates us from God, and about His plan to deal with sin and completely wipe it away, by the blood of Jesus, so that we can stand righteous before God

Beginning your journey with Christ

God has given us a free will and the freedom of choice, and just like Adam and Eve, people often choose to reject the greatest gift, and say no to the most incredible future with God.

In order to be set free from our sin, and to be saved one has to submit their life to the will of God and to His plan and purpose for our lives. This means to turn away from our old ways and turn to Jesus, to ask Him to forgive us of our sins and that He would give us new life. Salvation is God’s free gift to us and we become His children and are adopted into His family.

Romans 10:9 says that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Now standing in the grace of God you are empowered to live a life that is different to the rest of the world. The bible says that you are “no longer a slave to sin” but that you have been set free in Christ and can walk in such a way that all of creation will see God living in you

If you are unsure whether you are right with God or you have the urge inside of you that you need Jesus in your life, then right now you have the opportunity to come to Him and allow Him to set you free. You don’t need someone special to pray over you, and you don’t have to be in a special place in order to do this, simply pray the following prayer, and mean it with all of your heart:

Dear Jesus, I come before you today, knowing that I have done wrong in my life and am in need of redemption. I am sorry for everything that I have done that has not pleased you and I ask that You will forgive me. I accept Your love and Your grace for me. Help me, Lord, to live in such a way that the world will see what You are like and how great Your love is. I choose, to make you the Lord of my life, and ask that you will help me to choose You for the rest of my life

In Jesus Name. Amen.
